What is AutoBiography? In addition to being a bad pun, AutoBiography is a self service portal that allows you to enter and update information on Imperials you own or have owned as well as stories involving these cars. AutoBiography is a rich environment that supports both text and pictures. You can submit anything from a single picture to a saga that rivals War and Peace in length. We would like a bit more detail than a single picture – after all, we’re here because we are interested in Imperials and fellow Imperial owners! As for War and Peace, if you’ve got the story, we’ve got the space to hold it.
What systems has Create Car been tested on? We have tested Create Car on PCs running standard web browsers.
Can I view the AutoBiography portal on an iPad or smart phone? Yes! The AutoBiography portal is implemented as a responsive design that automatically adapts to different screen sizes.
Can I use Create Car on an iPad or smart phone? Yes, with one major restriction: the maximum file size for a picture is 2MB and the pictures taken on smart phones are much larger. You will need to resize pictures so that they are smaller than 2MB before uploading them.

I have multiple cars to add. How do I do this? We are looking for a separate entry for each car – if you have multiple cars we ask you to enter each one individually. We also have a place for stories that don’t necessarily involve a single car. This is creatively called “Add Member Story”.
Can I change or add to a Car or Story after I’ve submitted it? Yes! You can edit all of your own posts, but not other peoples posts. To do this look at the line right under the title of your post. This should start with your name and the date of the post. The last item on this line is edit. Click on that and make your changes or additions.
Can I submit a car that isn’t an Imperial? The Online Imperial Club is home to Chrysler Imperial and Chrysler New Yorker Brougham owners around the world. Other cars are out of scope.
Why is the AutoBiography portal a separate web site? AutoBiography is a portal for user generated content for the Online Imperial Club and uses different Web technologies than the core website. While it is physically implemented as a separate site it is a logical part of the ImperialClub.com website.
